Yazhini Travel Scholarship encourages the NIT Department of Architecture students to travel. The scholarship had it first run in 2007.

Simple definition of YTS: A jury selects two studetns (finalists) based on the architectural photographs submitted by the students. The finalists are expected to photo document their travel and present the photos at NITT. Based on this presentation and their travel photos the winner is selected.
